Mary Shelley’s Greatest Creation

Mary Shelley wrote the book Frankenstein during an emotionally trying time in her life. It was a masterstroke of creativity that told the tale of a mad scientist who cobbled together a “Monster” from the parts of dead people and shocked it back to life with the magical electricity that was the fresh technology of the day. Of course, the head of Dr. Frankenstein’s monster is one of the hottest props in all of Halloween lore.

A Monstrous Head

There are some “Frankensteins” that look like Herman Munster with the flat top skull, which is wholly unbelievable. Though had the tale of Dr. Frankenstein’s creation been real, the “Monster” would have had a very human looking head shape and face. Which you see replicated beautifully in this professional-quality Frank Head Prop. It even seems to have a facial expression like that of a person being shocked back to life, in the moment when awareness once again dawns from beyond the bleak void of death.

This prop is available to rent for $175 with a $220 security, or to purchase for $395.

** Please note that the security deposit is not added to your cart at the time of check out. If you select pick up in store method you will pay the security deposit at the time of pick up.
